What We are Looking For

We are seeking out exceptional technicians and customer service representatives to ensure that customers are receiving the best, most efficient service experiences available anywhere for plumbing and HVAC installation and repair. When you join us, you will be a member of a passionate, dynamic team to demonstrate your technical competency and work to achieve desired sales metrics. You will help customers make confident, informed buying decisions, diagnose system issues, and provide workable solutions. This position is based out of our North Aurora office, and technicians will have the opportunity to travel around the market we serve.

Responsibilities for all applicants include:

• Establishing a rapport with customers to sell the services and products they need
• Educating customers on the best maintenance plans and financing options for their needs
• Holding yourself accountable for meeting and exceeding revenue goals and understanding sales criteria
• Demonstrating that you are a professional and knowledgeable individual to earn repeat business and referrals
• Working as a team with dispatch and customer service to ensure smooth business operations
• Maintaining an organized, tidy job site and properly inventoried truck
• Participating actively and enthusiastically in morning meetings, training exercises, and retreats
• Training and mentoring apprentices thoroughly to ensure that repairs and installations are efficient and accurate
• Submitting time cards, invoices, curbside feedback, and option sheets in an accurate and timely manner

Available Positions

Plumbing Technician

Our plumbing technicians will be expected to complete in-home service calls for plumbing and drain cleaning matters. They must have at least 3 years of experience, including work and/or hands-on training, and an EPA certification and knowledge of relevant venting and installation codes.

Drain Technician

Drain technicians at Prestige Plumbing Heating Cooling will complete all jetting, drain cleaning, and cable work related to in-home service calls. They will provide camera service for every mainline stoppage within a day of the report. We expect our technicians to educate customers on the importance of sewer repair, as well as help them understand why the blockage occurred and how you will fix it. It is important that all of our technicians protect the equipment they use and ensure that their truck is properly inventoried. They must also be licensed with a thorough knowledge of plumbing codes in the area, and the ability to make fast, accurate judgment calls.

Customer Service Representative

We are looking for friendly, engaging customer service representatives who can help us to achieve new heights of customer service that will keep people coming back again and again. You will be a part of a dynamic and fun-loving team that works tirelessly to help the company grow. As a service representative, you will book service appointments, field questions, and do what is necessary to help our customers get the help they need.

Responsibilities include:

• Converting customer calls and queries into booked service appointments
• Delivering call scripts in a clear, personal, and compelling fashion
• Responding to customer requests, promoting the Prestige Plumbing Heating Cooling brand, and resolving any issues that could crop up
• Participating in training exercises to improve booked calls and practice outbound calls
• Being alert, communicative, and responsive to customers, and resolving customer complaints in a timely manner
• Maintaining the customer database with comprehensive and accurate information

Requirements:

• Demonstrated track record of customer service – home services experience a plus!
• Competent with technology, good typist, and proficient with phone systems
• Able to empathize with customers and build a continuing rapport with them
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent a plus

HVAC Installer

Our HVAC installers are required to have at least 3 years of practical experience in the field, including hands-on training and/or actively working in the industry, as well as an EPA certification. They must also have comprehensive knowledge of all relevant installation and venting codes. We expect our installers to complete all installations as efficiently and accurately as possible to make our customers happy!
